Small Business Recovery Grant
For Small Businesses Affected by Flooding and Wildfires in New Mexico
The Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas (FHLB) is giving $1 million in grants to help small businesses in New Mexico recover from floods and wildfires. The program starts on January 2, 2025, and funds will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis. Up to $20,000 per customer will be available to cover building rehabilitation, machinery and equipment repair, and/or inventory replacement.
Requirements
- Must qualify as a small business under Small Business Administration (SBA) Section 3(a).
- Business must be located in a designated disaster area and the incurred damage must at least
equal the amount of grant requested. Photo evidence will be required. - There will be additional information required following the application submission. FHLB will
require an overview of the business, how the grant will be used, and a brief description of the
recovery plan.
